Going through a pregnancy and eventually giving birth will have a major impact on your body. Following your pregnancy, you might find yourself dealing with a wide variety of cosmetic problems. A mommy makeover is going to boost your confidence and restore your self-image by eradicating many of those imperfections and blemishes. This multifaceted procedure is a great option for any mom who wants to look and feel her best.
Your Body After Hormonal Changes
Anything that impacts your hormones is also going to alter your appearance. After going through a pregnancy, you may end up with a long list of imperfections that you would like to get rid of. Sticking to a healthy diet and getting plenty of exercise will help you manage some of those issues, but moms often benefit from a little bit of professional assistance. A personalized mommy makeover will address loose skin, stubborn abdominal fat, stretch marks, uneven breasts, and sagging breast tissue.
Breast Lifts
Many women undergo a mommy makeover because they are no longer happy with the appearance of their breasts after giving birth or breastfeeding. During a breast lift, our team will reposition all of the soft tissue that has begun to sag. We can also remove excess skin and reposition the nipples to create a more balanced look. Some moms decide to have implants added during this operation as well. These procedures should only be carried out if you don’t plan on having more children in the future.
Liposuction and Tummy Tucks
Trying to get rid of loose skin after giving birth can be an aggravating and time-consuming process. Even if you didn’t gain much weight during your pregnancy, there could still be quite a bit of excess skin throughout the midsection. A tummy tuck is a great option for women who can’t seem to get rid of loose skin no matter what they try. That procedure is often combined with liposuction in order to create a slim and attractive silhouette. These two operations can be carried out at the same time to minimize your recovery.
Labiaplasty
When giving birth, the labia minora will often stretch substantially, and that can be very uncomfortable when exercising or moving around. In addition to causing irritation, some women also find that stretched soft tissue to be unsightly. A labiaplasty is carried out to restore the size and position of the labia minora.

Category: reviewsI have known Dr Myers for around 4 years as he assessed my carpal tunnel issues and in followup will now soon do his magic on my one wrist and then in the upcoming months the other wrist. He did a thorough workup. I am about to have my first one and will state, I am so comfortable with Dr. Myers. I am not even thinking about the procedure. Thank your lucky stars if you are seeing Dr Myers for any medical assessment and treatments. He is a world class medical professional with an amazing education and history. I know because I was a medical center consultant in New York for 20 years and the people in Chico are so fortunate to have the care of Dr Myers. Frank Covich Chico

People Can't Believe I'm 75!
by Joanne Wilburn
Category: reviewsI'm 75 years old, and recently upon visiting various doctors, I've had three of them either walk past me staring or even walk past the examination room, not recognizing their 75 year old patient. I've even had one nurse tell me the doctor thought he had the wrong person in the examination room because my skin looked so young! People actually come up to me and ask to touch my face. I love it!
Professional and caring, skilled healthcare team!
by Stacey Longtin-Horton
Category: reviewsIn late October I had a work-related injury that resulted in a partial amputation of my left thumb. Because my bone was exposed, reconstructive surgery was needed in order to minimize infection and to save what I had left of my thumb. Dr. Kevin Myers determined that a Moberg advancement flap was the best option to maintain full range of motion and the most thumb length possible. My overall experience here was absolutely amazing! The entire staff was very accommodating and kind and worked in a very professional matter. They were always there to answer questions when I had them. My surgery went very well, and recovery was easy. A little over two months later, I now have a fully functioning thumb with full feeling and full range of motion! I am totally impressed with the work that the healthcare staff did! Although I hope to never need any reconstructive surgery again, I would not hesitate coming back here if I needed to for any issue. 100% would recommend to friends or family.
